Meet the Expert: The home buying journey by sales consultant, Justine

Justine is a sales consultant here at Countryside and she’s currently based at our Calico Grove development in Rochdale. Here she explains the process of buying a house and shows how straightforward and simple the path to homebuying can be when you work with us. 

“I’m a sales consultant for Countryside. I’m the first person you meet as you come through the door on the first part of your home buying journey - and I’ll stay with you right through the process.”

“The top three questions buyers always ask when they first come to us are about price, availability and any incentive deals that might be available - and we’ll be on hand to answer all of your questions.

“I can also point you in the direction of some new homes professionals, including financial advisors and solicitors. There’s no obligation, but they’re very knowledgeable and we’re very knowledgeable here at Countryside too.”

The steps involved

“The process really begins when your finance details are all in place and you’re happy with the home you have chosen. You can then reserve your home with a £500 reservation fee.

“The next stage will be an appointment with myself, where you will meet the site manager, and you will be able to see all of the plans and drawings that will help you to visualise your home (because it may well be off plan).

“The final stage is where your financial advisor and your solicitor, who will have been working in the background, will come together and you will exchange contracts.”
